Hello Friend,

The cookie recipes most favored around my house when I was young were the oatmeal, peanut butter and sugar cookies. These were the easiest to make and consisted of ingredients that we always had on hand. I have fond memories of baking cookies and taking them to school for my classmates. They were usually one of these simple cookie recipes. Once in a while, if I could talk Mom into it, I would make a chocolate chip cookie recipe.
