Hello Friend,

Different types of fruitcake recipes are a tradition of holiday recipes of many countries. My German heritage has the stolen, which is made with yeast. For some reason, in our home we always had one of our traditional fruitcake recipes. I don’t know how it originated but it latched on to me and this is the type that I always make. I have tried so many ways over all my years of cooking to produce that special fruitcake. Now I do have my favorites.
