Apple Cake Recipe

I have heard of a good old fashioned apple cake made with dried apples. Do you know what it is and can you give me a recipe?

This was something different that enjoyed by my whole family! Easy yet very tasteful. I will absolutely do this again for special occasions together with the recipes in www.gourmandia.ca .
