Grilled barbeque or baked barbeque chicken recipes; there is a difference. The word “barbeque” is often used very freely between cooking outdoors and covering with a barbeque sauce.
In many parts of the country such as my home state of Ohio barbeque refers to covering in sauce. In Florida, another place I call home, barbeque is to cook outdoors on a grill; whether you choose to have a sauce with your barbeque is left up to you after the barbeque is done.
