COOKING A TURKEY ON GAS GRILL

by Frank and Lynn
(Germantown, Ohio)

I put foil in bottom of the aluminum pan. I then take soften butter and rub all over the bird, then I use Lawrys salt, celery seed and any other spices you want on the bird. Then I wrap wings and legs with foil to keep them from getting to brown. The I cover the rest loosely with foil. I put about 1 to 2 cups of water in pan, always keep some water in pan. Heat grill till hot --- put bird on grill. cook on high for one half to 45 min. then set heat back some. I baste bird about every 20 min. When it gets about done I will take the baster ( the one that has the squeeze ball on top) and fill it with the broth in pan and squeeze juice in breast several times. Then watch the meat thermometer or the pop up till done
