SBI and Me

The path that led me to SBI is not a straight one. I have been involved in various areas of business throughout my life. I always loved working with food but I loved even more being home to raise my children and cooking for my family. Most jobs do not allow you this privilege but working from home has been a priority in my mind. I started hearing from friends about many people starting their own websites. How wonderful! This was my response to them never dreaming I would ever have a website of my own.

Eventually, I decided I needed to do a website. The questions were how do you do a website and what do you do your website about? At first I hired a webmaster. He built a beautiful website with flashing pictures and everything, but I never had any response from that site. Fortunately, fate intervened and two things happened simultaneously. I was reading Chris Anderson’s THE LONG TAIL and I read about Site Build It! I am one who does not believe in accidents. It really made me think about a lot of things.

I kept hearing all these good things about SBI. It was extremely cheap compared to what I had just paid a webmaster. SBI seemed to make more sense. It wasn’t a “get rich quick”, it required hard work. It wasn’t just a website it was a business that made sense. It took me a few months and more research before I decided to purchase it.

One of the first things I really liked about Site Build It was a step by step guide to follow. This guide includes everything you need to build an online business. You need no technical skills to do a website, if you have half a brain. Site Build It offers technical guidance as well as instructions on how to write pages for the internet which is really, really important. This is a completely different way of writing for me. I finally got it! Internet writing is using the words and phrases that most people search for. Sometimes the words are misspelled and the grammar not exactly correct due to an international audience.

I still can’t believe how my site continues to grow. All along the way you have encouragement from fellow SBIers. The people who use Site Build It are the friendliest and most helpful people on the net. They have reviewed my site, sales pages and products and always give honest, brutal criticism but always constructive. They want you to succeed as much as they have and have financial freedom. Incredible! I love my website business!
