Combine and blend all ingredients; brush on meats while grilling.

  • 2 Bottles ketchup (32 ounces)
  • 1 Pint tomato juice
  • ½ Cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ Pound dark brown sugar
  • ¼ Cup prepared mustard
  • 1 ½ oranges
  • 1 ½ lemons
  • ½ Cup white vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 Medium diced onion
  • 2 Whole cloves garlic

Squeeze oranges and lemons; then peel them and place juice and peelings in saucepan.

  • 1/3 Cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; blend well.

Use as a basting sauce for chicken or ribs.


THICK AND SWEET BARBEQUE SAUCE RECIPE

  • ½ Cup chopped onion
  • 1 Clove minced garlic
  • ¼ Cup vegetable oil
  • 1 Can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • ¼ Cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • ¼ Cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Cook onion and garlic in oil in skillet over medium high heat until tender.

Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until thickened (about 20 minutes).

Stir mixture often as it cooks; use as basting sauce for burgers, chicken and ribs.


HOMEMADE BARBEQUE SAUCE RECIPE

  • 8 Cups ketchup
  • 7 Ounces Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Tabasco sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 2/3 Cup cider vinegar
  • 11 Ounces cooking oil
  • 2 Teaspoons black pepper
  • 6 plus 2/3 ounces brown sugar
  • 3 Teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3 Teaspoon onion salt
  • 3 Teaspoons accent
  • ½ Cup molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons liquid smoke

Combine and mix well; Heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.


CAROLINA BARBEQUE SAUCE RECIPE

This Carolina homemade barbeque sauce recipe is a vinegar barbeque sauce recipe which is good for tenderizing but it is also a sugar free barbeque sauce. This is good for meats like pork butt roasts or meats that need tenderizing. Be couscous of using with tender cuts of meat.


  • ¼ Cup hot sauce
  • 1 Gallon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon crushed hot pepper

Combine and mix all ingredients; marinate pork butt or shoulder for several hours in refrigerator.

Remove meat from marinade and boil marinade to use as basting sauce.

Use indirect heat to cook pork, over hickory wood is good.

Cook over fire at about 220F degrees for about 1 ½ hours per pound; internal temperature should reach 180F degrees to 190F degrees.


JACK DANIELS BARBEQUE SAUCE RECIPE

  • 1 Cup apple cider vinegar
  • ½ Cup Jack Daniels Black Label
  • 4 Tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 Cup cold water
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • ½ Teaspoon cayenne pepper

Combine all sauce ingredients.

After grilling ribs place ribs in foil baste with sauce, seal foil tightly; place over low heat for 20 minutes on each side.


BBQ SAUCE RECIPE

  • 1 Cup tarragon vinegar
  • 5 Teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons chili powder

  • 2 Teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 Large finely chopped onion

Combine and blend all ingredients; simmer 2 hours.

Can be canned immediately in hot sterile jars and sealed tightly.


BEEF MARINADE RECIPE

  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon rice wine
  • 2 ½ Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 Clove minced garlic
  • ½ Teaspoon crushed ginger root
  • 2 Medium chopped green onions
  • 1 Teaspoon sesame seeds toasted and pounded
  • 1/8 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon water

Cut beef against the grain in thin slices; place in a bowl.

Combine sugar and wine and pour over meat; let stand 10 to 15 minutes.

Combine remaining ingredients (for seasoning sauce) and blend.Remove meat from sugar and wine.

Place meat into seasoning mixture and marinate for at least 15 minutes; longer is better.

Grill over charcoal fire about 1 minute on each side.
